Hustle + Flow Move by LU

Let go of your assumptions of what working out should be and start focusing on what you want it to be.

These functional full-body movement classes set to energetic music focus on developing mind and body strength while using heart-pumping exercises. The Hustle + Flow method will increase cardio endurance, maximize muscle engagement, improve body awareness, and develop stamina.

Be prepared to use dumbbells, resistance bands, body weight and sliders throughout the workout followed by a yoga inspired cool down to recharge and renew your soul and mental focus. Through lots of sweat, you will leave class feeling confident, inspired and ready to be the best version of YOU. All levels of fitness are welcome.

Hustle + Flow was designed by Lucy Ulmer to bring the east coast intensity to the west coast’s chill in a space where it’s safe to try new things, take chances, and sweat. Like, a lot.

With a 200 hour yoga certification under her belt, Lucy combines body-burning moves with yoga-like poses and dares you to be a kid again in every class. If you have been looking for a way to fall in love with your practice, look no further than Hustle + Flow. Warning: the endorphin-high is addicting.

Lucy applies her countless Schwinn training hours to tailor this class so that it promotes strength and conditioning to help prepare you for your next big event. Hell, even if you just like cruising down the seawall on your single gear road bike, you won’t want to miss this. *Wicker basket not included.

With Lucy as a Master Trainer at Lagree West, she offers group and private sessions on the Megaformer. This high intensity, but low impact workout lends itself to all fitness levels. Rock Steady Boxing

Become Rock Steady.

Through Rock Steading Boxing Vancouver, Coach Lucy gives people with Parkinson’s Disease hope through non-contact boxing based fitness. She uses exercises that have been adapted from boxing drills to give her boxers an opportunity to “fight back” against Parkinson’s Disease. Classes are modified to individual boxer’s needs and abilities. No prior boxing experience is needed. At Rock Steady, Parkinson’s is our opponent.
